When people hear "infrared" they picture a quartz heater with a glowing orange tube. That kind of emitter — luminous infrared — typically runs between 500 and 900 °C, and some quartz or high-power models reach 1,300–2,400 °C at the filament. That is why it glows, why it burns, and why it is dangerous at floor level (hair or clothing can reach it) or on a ceiling with objects nearby.

Ours is NON-luminous infrared: the element runs at about 60 °C, spread over more than 200 linear metres inside the panel. No light, no spotlight, no hot spot. The secret is not heating more: it is spreading the heat and never storing it.

It sounds impossible, but there is no trick: the panel stores no energy. A surface that stores heat releases it all at once and burns; ours only delivers the heat it generates at that instant, so you can touch it while hot without getting burnt.

Working temperatures with the room at 19 °C: 87 °C the transparent radiator, 92 °C the wall-mounted one and 95 °C the portable. When you touch it you feel that it is warm, nothing more. The portable can be picked up while hot to move it without getting burnt.

Inside every panel there are more than 200 linear metres of heating element spread over 90 lines, with a filament of 0.021 mm — thinner than a hair. Each line works at a low temperature, so there are no hot spots anywhere on the surface.

Everything is sealed between 4 layers of 80 microns of heat-fused laminate with polyester protection. A seal for life: no moisture gets in, it does not degrade and it needs no maintenance at all.

A cold house stores damp in walls, furniture and fabrics, and that damp takes the heat away. In the first days your radiator is doing work you cannot see: drying the room and warming the mass of the house. Once that is done it only has to maintain, and that is where the real saving begins.

Patience creates savings. Three conditions: continuous use (not two odd hours), the door closed if the rest of the house is cold, and the right m² for the model.

An honest note: if you want hot air in ten minutes, this is not your product. A fan heater warms fast, uses a lot and the cold returns the moment you switch it off. We would rather tell you before you buy.

Traditional heating warms the air, the warm air rises to the ceiling and leaves the moment you open a door. Our infrared heats people, furniture and walls directly, just like the sun on a cold day: you feel the warmth even when the air is cool.

As a result: no fan and no noise, no dust or draughts, no dried-out air, and the heat is not lost when you ventilate. And the warmed walls give that heat back for hours.

Because we do not heat the air and do not store heat, we need very little power for the same comfort. And you avoid what makes other systems expensive: no building work, no boiler, no ducts and no annual service. You only pay for the electricity you use, from day one and for years.

Our boxes are recycled cardboard, with no plastic coating and no glossy finish. New boxes are unprinted: printing a box uses ink, solvents and energy and makes the product dearer without giving you anything. For some models we are using up every last printed box we have in the warehouse before moving to unprinted recycled cardboard: throwing them away would be a waste.

And there is no paper inside. The instructions and the warranty are online, always at hand, and they never get lost. That saves paper and ink, and they are always up to date: if we improve something, we update them straight away.

These are real figures from our units installed and running, and they grow with every sale: 27,812 m² heated, 2,487 units in operation, 1,620,464 kg of CO₂ avoided each year and the equivalent of 67,519 trees at work.
